We were fortunate to have Dr. Allison Weinmann, an infectious disease expert, return as a speaker for our Fems Health Series.

Dr. Weinmann is a leader in infectious diseases here in Michigan. She's working on the front-line to fight the COVID virus on a local land and global level with her colleagues from across the world.

The topic for this session was: COVID vaccines & the current state of the health crisis.

There's a lot of information swirling around about vaccines. What are the different types? Which one works best? What do the newly identified COVID strains mean for us? We wanted to address these questions and provide additional insights from a leading infection disease doctor.

This was a zoom event and participants were be able to ask Dr. Weinmann questions after her update.
