The ballot petition project has ended. Thank you to all of our amazing distributors and circulators! We couldn’t have done it without you.
Pending final approval by the Board of Canvassers, Reproductive Freedom for All and Promote the Vote will be on the ballot in November. We surpassed the required number of valid signatures for both initiatives. In fact, we collected more signatures for Reproductive Freedom for All than any other citizen-led ballot initiative in Michigan history!
Unfortunately, the Good Time initiative did not get enough signatures to get it on the ballot.
Raise the Wage did not have enough signatures in time to get it on the ballot this year, but they have enough now, and it may be on the ballot in 2024. A decision will be made at a later date, as there has been a Court of Claims ruling that the legislature illegally amended the 2018 initiative for a $12/hour minimum wage and that it should go into effect. There is still litigation going on around this ruling, so we will have to wait to see what will happen.
